In this weeks episode I tell the dark tale of a man with a funny coloured beard and his nasty habit of tricking his wives into letting him murder them. He's an ass hat but there are some cool feminist themes in the story and we take a brief look at feminism and gender identity in folklore as well.

Ep14:Tamalamadodah

In this episode I tell the first folklore tale I truly loved. The one that got me into folklore and elves and spooky woods. The wonderful Ballad of Tam Lin.  A few people told me to read the ballad with the Scottish dialect words...so I did but my accents are shite, so its a little weird!
